Sharing is caring!

Hi everyone! Right now I am sitting in the airport waiting for my delayed flight, listening to the Disney Hits playlist on Apple Music. I’m so excited to be sharing this post with you all! On Wednesday I got to visit my favorite and most magical place, Disney World!! It was my first time back since I went freshman year of college for my high school graduation present from my aunt. I have been to Disneyland a few time since than and while I do love Disneyland, I think Disney World is my favorite of the two! My family planned a trip for this week to Florida before everyone went back to school, and I some how managed to convince everyone to spend on day in Disney World!

We started our day bright and early Wednesday morning at 6:00AM making the hour and half car ride to Disney World. Luckily when we arrived our room for the night at Coronado Springs was all ready, and we where able to put all our stuff in the room. This was my first time staying at Coronado Springs, and I really love this resort. They are doing some construction there and the new additions seem like they are going to be really nice. This resort is a little on the bigger side compared to the Port Orleans French Quarter resort I stayed in a few years ago, they have 4 bus stops in the resort alone! I really enjoyed the Spanish/Mexican colonial theme, not that we really spent time at the resort as we were only there for one night. We did walk around on Thursday morning before we left to look at the pool and it was really cool, with a slide and Mayan Temple waterfall.

Okay I kind of trailed off a little, so once we dropped our stuff off at our room we went to get a bus to Hollywood Studios. Since we only had one day, our plan was to go to three parks and do the rides we really wanted to do. When we got to Hollywood Studios we got to the park as soon as it opened so we went right to Rock n Roller Coaster and Star Tours. We also walked around the new Toy Story Land. We didn’t go on the new Slinky Dog Dash, but we did go on Toy Story Mania. That was all we really did in Hollywood Studio, next we made our way to Epcot.

Epcot is one of my favorite parks in Disney World (behind Magic Kingdom of course lol). Besides the fact that you can walk around and visit different places in the world showcase, it also has one of my favorite ride, Soarin’ around the World!! It is also my mom’s favorite ride, so it was our first stop at Epcot as it was a 40-minute wait. It is so worth the wait, and it does go pretty fast because a lot of people can go on one ride. After we decided to make our way around the world stopping at the different countries like Mexico (for a Margarita), Norway (to ride Frozen Ever After), Italy, Japan, and France just to name a few.

Last but definitely not least, we went to my favorite park, Magic Kingdom! We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening here. There are so many things to do in this park, so Ill just name a few of my favorites! We got fast passes for Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and Jungle Cruise. We also went on Pirates of the Caribbean ride, Hunted Mansion ride, It’s a Small World ride, and Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor. While I do love all of the fun rides at Magic Kingdom, I also took advantage of the great photo opportunities such as the “Purple Wall”. One of my favorite parts of the entire day was the fireworks show, Happily Ever After. This was my first time seeing the new show and it blew my expectations out of the water. If you are going to Disney World, I would definitely suggest making time to see this incredible firework display with some amazing projections on the castle.

Overall this was an amazing visit to Disney World, even though it was only a day. Hopefully the next one will be a little longer! I am already looking into planning another trip for sometime this year. Let me know if you all want to hear more about my Disney experiences!
