Hi everyone! It’s Friday, which means the weekend!! I hope you all had an amazing week. I am really excited for this post. I am working with Basic Invite, which is a company that does custom invites, holiday cards, stationary, business cards, and so much more! They sent me a few samples to test out, and I had so much fun making some stationary and holiday cards. Before I show you what I made, I wanted to discuss the company a little more!
First thing I loved about this company is that they have tons of color options. They have over 180 color options to choose from. I loved having so many colors to choose for my cards and stationary. They even have three foil colors (gold, silver, and rose gold), which I think is so pretty! They also have a ton color options for envelopes. With over 40 color options for envelopes, I had to order at least one colored envelope to show you guys. I decided on a gorgeous pink. All their envelopes are peel and seal, so no need to spend hour licking each envelope!
Something else that the website does is it allows you to order a sample of you invitation or stationary before you place your final order. I think this is so helpful especially if you were to be ordering invitations for a big event such as a wedding. You get to double check that everything is to your liking before you order all your invites.
Now on to what I designed! I was so excited to get to order a few sample to share with you all! I am not planning any events right now, so invitation weren’t a necessity for me. But I was really excited for all the stationary options and holiday cards! They also have some really fun business cards if you are in need of some of those!
First up is the stationary. I wanted to do one that had the Kaybella logo on it, so I just uploaded my logo, and I was able to customize the border. As I was scrolling through some of the options, I saw a monogramed one, which I loved. This one I changed the background color to a light pink, and my monogram a navy blue. The third stationary I made was a design I found that said “hello from”. Remember you can change it to say what ever you want, but I decided to keep it to say “Hello from Kayla”. My last piece of stationary was a “Thank You” card. I feel like I am always in need of “Thank You” cards so I thought it would be fun to order one. The design I ended up going with, is so fun but still not too much.
The second group of things I ordered was holiday cards. My mom sends out Christmas cards to family and friends every year, so I thought it would be fun to make some of my own. I don’t know about you guys, but come December, when people start to send out holiday/Christmas cards, we hang along of them up on a wall in my living room. It’s so nice to see how everyone we know has been doing over the year! So I made two holiday cards, one from Kaybella and one with a picture of me with my dog, Kassie. There are so many choices to pick from for holiday cards; I love both of the two I chose. However I think the Kaybella one is so pretty, because its not too traditional but it still feels christmasy (is that even a word haha). Along with holiday cards, they also have some really pretty christmas party invitations!
