Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I know that there is a lot happening right now in the world with the Coronavirus and all the uncertainty it has brought. I hope you are staying safe and healthy. I also wanted to thank anyone who works in a field that is directly combating the virus, and I want to send my love and prayers to everyone who has been effected (whether you have the Coronavirus or you job has been impacted by it). With all that being said, after listening to what people are saying (both followers and other bloggers), I have heard that platforms such as mine and social media channels are being used as an escape for many. I plan on continuing on with sharing my normal content, and hopefully bright you day!

So now onto the blog post! Last week I went to an event with an amazing lipstick company, MOODmatcher and Nina MUA makeup school. I went to an event put on by both about a year and half ago, and it was one of my favorite events to date. I was so excited to get to go to another one of their events. If you haven’t heard of MOODmatcher, they are are lipstick brand I have worked with in the past. They are known for their color changing lipstick. The lipstick changed colors based on you pH to be the perfect match for you complexion. It also stays on for 12 hours, and I am not joking, this lipstick doesn’t go anywhere. They also have lacquer glosses, matte cream lipsticks, and liners.

The event itself had so many fun components! They had so many yummy snacks like Goodie Girl cookies, Brew Dr Komucha, and Vosges Haut-Chocolat. They also had a beauty bar where you could get you makeup done and try some MOODmatcher’s amazing lipsticks. There was also a photographer and so many photo opportunities. Since it was an event for International Women’s Day, they had Hope Alcoer, an inspiring author come speak. The event was held at the Nina Mua makeup school, so there were some demonstrations of popular make up trends for this year.

It was so nice to see some of my friends that I have meet through other Moodmatcher events, and other friends who I have met through other events. I think one of my favorite part of attending any event is getting to meet new people and see old friend you might not see a lot!
