Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend. I am so happy the weather here on Long Island is finally nice and warm and sunny. I am so excited for today’s post all about skin care. I feel like I may have briefly mentioned in prior posts that I was never really into skin care other than a cleanser and moisturizer, but it was something I wanted to get into more. Well I have been trying out products and I wanted to share some of my favorites right now! So some of these I have been using for months while others I have only been using for a few week (and I’m already seeing a difference!). Just to let you know my Tula code “Kaybella15” is for 15% off!
So lets start out with my cleanser. I have always used the Neutrogena Oil-Free Salicylic Acid Acne Fighting Face Wash, I used it for years and it works really well. However, a few months ago I tried out the Tula The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser and I love it! Its such a gentle cleanser, which is so great for my sensitive skin. I have mostly been using the Tula cleanser, and using the Neutrogena one when I have any acne flair up. Sometimes I will just apply my cleanser with my hands, but sometimes I love using my TAO Clean Orbital Facial Brush. I love using this brush because I can really feel it give my face a nice clean. The only reason I don’t use it every time I wash my face, is just because my can sometimes get a little sensitive and I like to give it a break. Under this cleansing category, I also want to share Garnier SKINACTIVE Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser. If you haven’t tried micellar water, I would definitely recommend. This Garnier one is my favorite I have tried.
The next thing I use is the Tula Get Toned pro-glycolic 10% resurfacing toner. I love using this toner because it exfoliates and hydrates the skin. The next product I love is the The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, it is a serum that hydrates and balances the skin. The Ordinary products are the ones that I have been using only a few weeks and I can already see a big difference in my skin and they are very affordable! Another The Ordinary product is the Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%. This one I mix with my moisturizer and use at night. It is supposed to brighten skin tone and help with anti-aging. The last The Ordinary product I have been using is the AHA 30% + BHA 2% PEELING SOLUTION. It is supposed to help with skin’s dullness, deeply exfoliate, and improves skin texture & skin radiance. You leave it on for no more than 10 minutes and you can do it at most two times a week.
For moisturizers I have two favorites. I love the Tula 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night cream and the Belif The True Cream-Moisturizing Bomb. Both do a great job at hydrating my dry and sensitive skin. I have tried a ton of moisturizers over the years and these are my favorite.
Next are eye products! The first eye cream is from Skin Lab. I love this brand, they are another affordable skin care brand that has a variety of amazing products. I have tried several of their eye creams, and I have loved them all! I am currently using their Revitalize & Hydrate Eye Repair Gel, but I also love their Hydrate & Replenish Hydra Eye Cream. Another eye product I love is the Tula Rose Glow & Get it Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. This is a Tula favorite, and I can say it is definitely worth the hype. I use it everyday whether I am wearing make up or not.
The next group of products are sprays. I like to use the Garnier SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water and Skin Lab’s Hydrate & Replenish Hydra Facial Mist. Even though these aren’t setting sprays I will usually use them after I finish my make up or skin car routine.
