Sharing is caring!

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far! I have had a busy past week. It was my grandma’s 80th birthday last week and we had a surprise drive-by for her, and this past weekend my whole family went up to my uncle’s house in Vermont to celebrate. Let me tell you if you haven’t been up to Vermont in the fall, definitely put it on your list. The views are stunning and the leaves have already been changing. Here on Long Island the trees are mostly still green!

On our way up, we kind of ended up taking the long way up. We went up on the New York side and stopped in Schuylerville at a Apple Orchard and for lunch. It’s the town in NY where the Schuylers (Alexander Hamilton’s wife Eliza Schuyer’s family!) had their summer home. We stopped at the Saratoga Apple Inc, which is a orchard and farm stand. We got some apples and cider donuts, and a little cider tasting! We stopped for Lunch at a cute cafe down the road called Revolution Cafe. Everyone got sandwiches to eat in the car, and they were so good! If you are ever in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Now onto my time in Vermont! We spent most of the time just spending time at my uncle’s house hanging out. It actually rained most of two of the days, luckily it did clear up in the late afternoon. One of the mornings we ended up driving about an hour away to Burlington. Even though it was pouring, it’s a really cute town to walk around. There was a lot of shops, both well known chains and cute local stores!

The views were absolutely gorgeous there. Good thing I brought a bunch of fall outfits for pictures as there were so many places to take to take them.

My sherpa from here is from Costco! I can’t link it in the images, but I would check your local store. I got mine on sale for $15.99 and I think they are normally $19.99.

There was gazebo (which I obviously had to take pictures next to), which was near this gorgeous circle structure that was made of stones. The view was just amazing from it, so as you can tell I took a ton of pictures near it.

My uncles house had a tower above his garage that had a small balcony. The view was incredible from there, and we went up to watch the sunset, so I was able to get some golden hour photos. The previous owners had horses, so there is a stables connected to the house. My uncle uses as extra storage and garage, as they don’t have horses, but the outside still looks just like a stable!
